Dubai Police Arrest Indian Gangster With Over 15 Cases, Extradition Pending
Gangster Rao Inderjeet Yadav arrested in Dubai; extradition awaited.
Indian gangster Rao Inderjeet Yadav, who fled the country following the murder of a businessman in Rohtak in 2024, has been arrested in Dubai, authorities confirmed. Dubai officials have requested relevant documents from Indian agencies, and sources indicated that Yadav is expected to be extradited to India shortly.
Yadav faces over 15 cases and chargesheets filed by police in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, including extortion, coercive loan settlements involving private financiers, armed intimidation, and earning commissions from illicit activities. The Enforcement Directorate had initiated a money-laundering investigation into Yadav following the businessman’s murder last year.
During raids conducted by the ED across Delhi and Gurugram, officials recovered five luxury cars, cash totaling ₹17 lakh, bank lockers, incriminating documents, digital devices, and extensive data related to Yadav and his associates. The investigation revealed that he had operated a website portal facilitating high-value loan settlements between corporate houses and private financiers.

Yadav is also known as the owner and key controller of Gem Records Entertainment Pvt Ltd, which operates as ‘Gems Tunes’ and produces regional songs in Haryanvi, Punjabi, and Hindi. He enjoys a high-profile lifestyle and has over 12 lakh followers on Instagram, frequently posting pictures with Bollywood celebrities.
His criminal record includes alleged involvement in murder, extortion, fraud, illegal land acquisition, and violent offences. Yadav was linked to the December 2024 murder of financier Manjeet Dighal, and his name resurfaced in July last year in connection with a firing at singer Rahul Fazilpuria’s residence and a separate incident involving YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
Prior to his arrest, Yadav had spoken from Dubai, claiming to be a “victim of conspiracy” and denying allegations of being a gangster. His extradition is expected to allow Indian authorities to proceed with legal action in multiple ongoing cases against him.
