Drunk Driver Goes on Rampage on Mathura Road, Smashes Multiple Vehicles in Faridabad
Intoxicated Scorpio driver rams multiple vehicles in horrifying highway chaos.
A black Mahindra Scorpio SUV initiated a prolonged and hazardous rampage along the busy Mathura Road Highway (NH-19) in Faridabad late on December 18, 2025, systematically colliding with numerous vehicles at high speeds while proceeding from Ballabhgarh toward Old Faridabad, instilling widespread fear among motorists and pedestrians in the area.
Multiple eyewitnesses reported that the driver appeared profoundly intoxicated, demonstrating extreme recklessness by maintaining breakneck velocities and intentionally or negligently striking every vehicle within his trajectory, thereby causing extensive structural damage to high-end automobiles including a robust Mahindra Thar, a luxury Mercedes sedan, and various other cars encountered during the ordeal.
The destructive sequence of impacts commenced near the Ballabhgarh flyover, involving an unregistered black Scorpio initially ramming two vehicles in that vicinity, followed by the driver's aggressive acceleration to evade intervention attempts by concerned onlookers, which propelled him to perpetuate additional collisions in subsequent areas such as Ajronda and Bata Chowk.

The chaotic episode reached its climax near the Old Faridabad Metro Station, where the out-of-control Scorpio violently rear-ended a Mahindra Thar traveling ahead and simultaneously sideswiped a stationary or maneuvering Mercedes, generating force sufficient to catapult the Thar onto the central road divider and inflict catastrophic frontal destruction on the Mercedes, while the offending Scorpio sustained heavy damage and finally halted amid the debris-strewn roadway.
In the aftermath of the terminal crash on December 18-19, 2025, a substantial crowd of outraged bystanders quickly assembled, successfully detaining the impaired driver until police arrival for handover, prompting authorities to commence a thorough investigation, initiate appropriate legal proceedings under relevant traffic and penal codes, deploy cranes for wreckage clearance to alleviate severe congestion on the vital Delhi-Agra corridor, and ensure prompt medical transport and treatment for all injured parties at a proximate private healthcare facility.
