Passersby and local residents rushed to assist the victim, who was quickly taken to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff, the delivery agent succumbed to his injuries during treatment, police confirmed.

Preliminary investigations indicate that overspeeding may have been a major factor in the crash. Authorities are examining CCTV footage from the area and recording statements from eyewitnesses to establish the exact sequence of events. Police are also probing whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol or violated other traffic regulations at the time of the incident.

The identity of the victim has not been fully disclosed, but officials said he was working as a delivery agent and was on duty when the accident occurred. The incident has sparked concern over the safety of gig workers, who often spend long hours on the road and face heightened risks due to traffic conditions and tight delivery schedules.
