Daughters Of BJP, AGP Leaders Express Support For Paper Leak Protests

The nationwide protests over alleged examination paper leaks have not only drawn support from students and opposition parties but have also found sympathy among some members of families associated with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Social media posts by the daughters of leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ally, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), reflected support for the youth-led demonstrations, highlighting differing views within some political families.

Among those expressing support for the protests were the daughters of an Assam minister from the AGP, a senior BJP Member of Parliament from Odisha and a former BJP legislator from Uttar Pradesh. Their online posts backing demands for accountability over examination paper leaks attracted attention as the protests gathered momentum across several states and intensified political pressure on the ruling alliance.

The demonstrations, largely driven by students and young people, focused on allegations of irregularities in competitive examinations and demands for greater accountability in the education system. Protesters also called for action following police intervention during demonstrations in New Delhi, with the issue becoming a major point of discussion in political circles and Parliament.
