Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the JSW Industrial Park would bring global recognition to North Andhra and position the region as a key industrial hub. He said the first phase of the project would span around 1,160 acres with an estimated investment of ₹531 crore, and would be developed in a phased manner to attract multiple industries. He added that the government was working to ensure employment opportunities for land-losers as part of the project’s implementation framework.
According to officials, the first phase of the industrial park is expected to generate around 45,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, significantly boosting the local economy. The development is being positioned as a transformative project for the Srungavarapukota Assembly constituency, with potential to reshape the industrial landscape of North Andhra in the coming years.
Government representatives also drew comparisons with established industrial hubs such as Sri City in Chittoor district, suggesting that the JSW Industrial Park could similarly accelerate regional development. Leaders credited Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh for driving industrialisation efforts in the state and promoting investor confidence through policy support and infrastructure planning.
