Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Declares Naxalism Will End Before 2026 Deadline
Vishnu Deo Sai declares war on Maoists nearly won, begs investors to rush in.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that left-wing extremism will be completely eliminated from the state well ahead of the Union government’s target date of March 31, 2026, marking the beginning of a new era of peace and accelerated industrial growth in one of India’s most mineral-rich regions.
During the ‘Chhattisgarh Investor Connect’ programme, eight major Gujarat-based companies signed memoranda of understanding worth ₹33,000 crore with the state government, while Sai disclosed that investment proposals totalling an unprecedented ₹7 lakh crore have been received in Raipur over the past ten months alone, reflecting growing business confidence in the improving security environment.
Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chief Minister credited their strategic direction and sustained anti-Naxal operations for the rapid decline in Maoist influence, noting that several top commanders have been neutralised in recent months and hundreds of cadres have surrendered under Chhattisgarh’s progressive rehabilitation policy that provides financial assistance, agricultural land, and permanent housing.

Urging Gujarat’s industrialists to seize the opportunity immediately, the Chief Minister assured complete administrative support and single-window clearances, emphasising that Chhattisgarh is poised to replicate the Gujarat model of development and emerge as central India’s leading industrial powerhouse in the coming decade.
