#BreakingNews: Chhattisgarh ATS Detains Two Minors Linked to Pakistan-Based ISIS Modules
Shocking arrest of two minors plotting ISIS module in India.
In a major breakthrough, the Chhattisgarh Anti-Terrorism Squad has detained two minor boys from Raipur after uncovering their direct operational links with Pakistan-based ISIS modules, marking the first known instance of ISIS radicalisation within the state and raising serious concerns about online terror recruitment targeting Indian teenagers.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma personally confirmed the development, revealing that the teenagers were not merely consuming extremist content but were actively functioning under the direct command of handlers across the border. These Pakistan-based operatives were running multiple fake and pseudo-identity Instagram accounts specifically designed to destabilise India by radicalising vulnerable youth and disrupting internal security through cyberspace.
Investigations have established that the minors were systematically drawn into secret Instagram group chats where they were bombarded with jihadi propaganda, violent videos, and ideological indoctrination. The handlers then instructed them to circulate ISIS material widely, recruit other impressionable teenagers, and take concrete steps toward establishing a full-fledged ISIS module right inside Chhattisgarh, officials disclosed.

The two teenagers have been booked under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967. Authorities credit intensive cyber surveillance by the ATS and central agencies for tracing the digital footprints and gathering irrefutable technical evidence that enabled swift detention before the minors could translate online radicalisation into real-world violence.
Alarmed by the incident, Vijay Sharma announced immediate plans to significantly expand the ATS network across Raipur and other major cities of Chhattisgarh. He stated he will request Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for additional resources and personnel while urging citizens to remain vigilant and instantly report any social media handle promoting anti-national, extremist, or jihadi content to prevent further radicalisation.
