#BreakingNews: 7-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted and Given Injection on School Grounds in Gujarat

In a disturbing case from Vijapur town in Mehsana district, Gujarat, a seven-year-old Class 2 girl was sexually assaulted twice and given an injection by a man on the premises of her school, police confirmed on Saturday. The girl informed her parents that the man took her to a garden behind the school on November 19 and touched her inappropriately. The following day, the man again assaulted her and allegedly administered an injection in her right hand.

The accused threatened the girl with death if she revealed the incidents to anyone. The child was later admitted to a hospital after complaining of severe stomach pain. Her father promptly filed a police complaint, leading to a formal investigation by the Vijapur Police Station under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Authorities are examining CCTV footage and awaiting medical reports to ascertain the contents of the suspicious injection. Inspector G. A. Solanki stated that the accused remains unidentified and stressed the seriousness of the case. The investigation aims to identify and apprehend the perpetrator while providing support for the child and her family.
