Bengaluru: Drunk Duo Hits Cab Driver With Helmet, Abuses on lookers
Drunk women crash a bike into a cab in Bengaluru, assault the driver with a helmet, and abuse locals.
Two women allegedly created a ruckus in Bengaluru on Saturday night after crashing their two-wheeler into a cab and assaulting the driver while reportedly under the influence of alcohol, police said.
The incident occurred when the women, identified as Lisa and Matthew, were returning home after visiting friends. According to the complaint, their bike rammed into a cab from behind, prompting the driver, Ahmed, to step out and question them about the collision.
What began as a verbal argument quickly escalated, with the women allegedly abusing the cab driver and striking him with a helmet. The confrontation drew the attention of passersby, some of whom attempted to intervene and defuse the situation.

However, locals who stepped in were also allegedly abused and assaulted, further intensifying the chaos at the scene. Videos of the incident reportedly circulated on social media, triggering widespread outrage.
Police later arrived at the spot and registered a case against the two women. Further investigation is underway to determine the sequence of events and confirm whether the accused were intoxicated at the time of the incident. Authorities have reiterated that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty of assault and public misconduct, regardless of gender
