Armed men allegedly carried out a high-intensity bank robbery in Madhya Pradesh, holding staff members hostage before escaping with gold ornaments and approximately ₹35 lakh in cash, according to police officials involved in the investigation. Police said the group of unidentified assailants entered the bank branch during working hours and quickly overpowered employees at gunpoint. Staff members were reportedly confined to a restricted area within the premises while the attackers gained access to cash counters and the strong room. The operation is believed to have lasted only a few minutes, suggesting prior planning and familiarity with the bank layout.

Preliminary estimates indicate that the robbers took away gold valuables pledged or stored in the bank, along with cash worth around ₹35 lakh.
