Actor Nadeem Khan Arrested for Decade-Long Rape of Domestic Help
Mumbai actor from blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ arrested for raping domestic help over 10 years on false marriage promise.
Mumbai police have arrested actor Nadeem Khan for allegedly raping a 41-year-old domestic help on the pretext of marriage over a 10-year period. Khan, who recently appeared in the Ranveer Singh-starrer blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’, was taken into custody on January 22, 2026, and remains in police remand following a complaint lodged by the woman.
According to the survivor’s statement, she had worked as domestic help for various actors and developed a close relationship with Khan years ago. She alleged that he repeatedly promised to marry her and, on that assurance, sexually assaulted her multiple times at her residence in Malwani and at his home in Versova. The assaults reportedly continued for a decade until Khan refused to fulfill his promise, prompting her to approach the Versova police station.
Since the first alleged incident occurred at her Malwani home—falling under Malvani police jurisdiction—the Versova police registered a zero FIR and transferred the case accordingly. A senior officer confirmed the complaint details and stated that Khan has been formally booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for rape and related offences.

The case has drawn significant attention given Khan’s recent visibility in the high-grossing film ‘Dhurandhar’, which crossed Rs 1000 crore at the box office. Police are continuing their investigation, including recording statements and collecting evidence from both locations.
