Tata Communications Wins Multi-Crore GSTAT Contract for Digital Transformation

Multi-crore project to revolutionize GST Appellate Tribunal's operations.

Tata Communications has secured a transformative, multi-crore contract from the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), a pivotal body under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The ambitious project entails the creation of a cutting-edge digital infrastructure, encompassing network, IoT, cloud, and security solutions, with integrated management to streamline operations across all GSTAT benches nationwide.

The company announced on Monday that this comprehensive digital ecosystem will enable seamless connectivity, fortified data security, and an enhanced user experience for GSTAT’s operations. With its principal bench in New Delhi and 31 additional benches spread across various states, GSTAT serves as the dedicated appellate authority for resolving GST-related disputes. The new infrastructure is poised to accelerate case resolutions, boost transparency, and improve operational efficiency through advanced technologies.

Tata Communications will deploy a robust suite of solutions, including Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), video conferencing systems, cloud services, and state-of-the-art security protocols. The integration of predictive analytics and AI-powered chatbots is expected to automate routine tasks, reduce operational bottlenecks, and provide real-time insights for faster decision-making.
