TASE Global Inaugurates Rs 150 Crore Aerospace Facility in Chennai’s Sriperumbudur

New 45,000 sq ft plant to manufacture aerostructure components, targeting Rs 300 crore additional revenue in three years.

Trusted Aerospace Engineering (TASE Global), a Chennai-based manufacturer of aviation and aerospace components, has commissioned a state-of-the-art production facility at Sriperumbudur in Kancheepuram district with an investment of Rs 150 crore. Spread across 45,000 square feet, the plant will focus on producing aerostructure components while continuing the company’s existing lines of aero engine parts and precision medical components, primarily for export markets.

The inauguration strengthens TASE Global’s position in the global aerospace supply chain, where it already supplies Tier-1 vendors serving major players such as Airbus and Boeing. Chairman Sankararaman Vaidyanathan announced that the new facility is projected to generate an additional Rs 300 crore in revenue over the next three years, contributing toward the company’s ambitious goal of reaching $100 million in total revenue during the same period.

A key highlight of the facility is its complete integration with 30 advanced high-precision machines supplied by Japan’s DMG MORI, combining German engineering accuracy with Japanese technology. These machines feature extended bed lengths suitable for large-scale aerostructure production, with plans to expand capabilities further. The setup is designed for full automation, enhancing efficiency and competitiveness in the international aerospace sector.

On the same 3.5-acre premises, TASE Global is constructing a 30,000 sq ft surface treatment facility with an additional Rs 40 crore investment, slated for completion and inauguration in April. The company also plans to allocate Rs 60 crore for a new semiconductor-related unit that will produce frontend machines used in chip manufacturing, supported by DMG MORI’s expertise and equipment.

The expansion follows TASE Global’s strategic acquisition in October 2025 of US-based Joined Alloys for Rs 106 crore. The acquired entity, specializing in aerospace manufacturing, special processes, sheet metal fabrication, and product development, currently contributes $45 million in annual revenue to the group.

Production for American customers will continue to be handled through the US subsidiary, while the new Sriperumbudur facility will cater primarily to European clients. This development underscores Tamil Nadu’s growing prominence as a hub for aerospace and advanced manufacturing, attracting significant investments in high-tech industries.
