Swiggy Instamart has partnered with Kalyan Jewellers to offer doorstep delivery of gold and silver coins in minutes—just in time for Akshaya Tritiya 2025. The new offering includes 0.5g and 1g 24-Karat, BIS-hallmarked gold coins, and 5g, 10g, and 20g certified 999 pure silver coins, all featuring decorative motifs like Ayodhya, Lord Ganesh, Swastik, and Goddess Lakshmi.

The coins will be available year-round across all 100 cities served by Swiggy Instamart, but the launch strategically coincides with Akshaya Tritiya, a festival deeply associated with buying gold. Celebrated this year on April 30, Akshaya Tritiya is believed to bring enduring prosperity and is widely considered an auspicious time to invest in valuables and start new ventures.

This move comes as festive quick-commerce demand rises, with rivals like Blinkit also offering coin deliveries since Diwali 2024.

Swiggy’s offering positions it as a go-to destination not just for groceries but now also for last-minute festive gold purchases. Post Akshaya Tritiya, Kalyan Jewellers’ coins will remain available on the platform as part of Instamart’s regular assortment.
