Skoda Launches Kushaq Facelift at Rs 10.69 Lakh, Takes Direct Aim at Creta and Seltos
The Skoda Kushaq facelift starts at Rs 10.69 lakh in India.
Skoda Auto has launched the facelifted version of the Skoda Kushaq in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end variant of the SUV is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh. This marks the first major update to the Kushaq since its debut in 2021. The refreshed model brings notable upgrades in design, features, and overall appeal. It aims to strengthen its position in the competitive mid-size SUV segment.
In terms of design, the facelifted Kushaq gets significant styling changes inspired by the larger Skoda Kodiaq. The SUV now features a redesigned grille and sleeker headlights with eyebrow-shaped DRLs. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels and roof rails with a 50 kg load capacity. Black cladding on the wheel arches and door edges enhances its rugged look. At the rear, connected LED taillights and illuminated Skoda branding add a modern touch.
Inside the cabin, the SUV retains its familiar layout but introduces several enhancements. It features a 2-spoke steering wheel along with ambient lighting for a premium feel. The infotainment system now includes a redesigned user interface on a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Additionally, a 10.25-inch digital driver display has been upgraded. These changes aim to improve user experience and convenience. The cabin continues to focus on comfort and practicality.

The Kushaq facelift comes loaded with new and improved features. It includes a panoramic sunroof and a segment-leading rear seat massage function. The SUV also offers ventilated and power-adjustable front seats. Other features include wireless phone charging and automatic climate control with rear AC vents. These additions enhance comfort and tech appeal. The updates bring it closer to segmented rivals.
On the safety front, the SUV offers six airbags as standard across variants. It also includes a rear parking camera and front and rear parking sensors. Additional features include a tyre pressure monitoring system and an auto-dimming IRVM. However, it misses out on a 360-degree camera and ADAS features. These are increasingly common among competitors like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. This could be seen as a drawback for some buyers.
Under the hood, the Kushaq facelift continues with two turbo-petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre engine produces 115 hp, while the 1.5-litre unit delivers 150 hp. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, an automatic, and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The range also introduces the Monte Carlo edition at launch. Overall, the update focuses on refining the existing package. It aims to attract buyers looking for a stylish and feature-rich SUV.
