Saviynt Opens 62,000 Sq. Ft. AI-Driven Identity Security Hub in Bengaluru

Saviynt launches its biggest global innovation hub in Bengaluru to accelerate AI-based identity security advancements.

Saviynt, a leading provider of AI-based identity security and governance solutions, inaugurated its expansive 62,000-square-foot office in Bengaluru today, marking it as the company's largest global innovation hub. Housing over 650 employees, the facility positions India as a cornerstone for the firm's research, development, and product innovation amid the rapid shift toward cloud and AI technologies in enterprises. The opening aligns with India's burgeoning digital economy, where the Identity and Access Management (IAM) market is forecasted to grow from USD 184.8 million in 2023 to USD 583.9 million by 2030, at a compound annual growth rate of 17.9%, according to Grand View Research.

The hub's launch comes at a critical juncture, bolstered by the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act of 2023, which mandates stringent data privacy measures and elevates identity security to a strategic priority for businesses. Saviynt's Bengaluru teams have already pioneered solutions like Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM), intelligence for non-human identities, and AI security tools, which safeguard Fortune 500 companies globally. Future efforts will integrate agentic AI and automation into the Identity Cloud platform, addressing the surge in non-human identities—such as machine-to-machine connections—that now outnumber human users and pose escalating compliance risks.

Paul Zolfaghari, Saviynt's president, emphasised the hub's transformative role during the inauguration. "India is not just our largest international office; it is our global engine of innovation," Zolfaghari said. "With this new hub, we are not only expanding our footprint but also shaping the future of identity security by combining India's deep talent pool with AI-driven product innovation. From Bengaluru, our teams are building solutions that protect Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide." The event featured key executives, including Jeff Margolies, chief product and strategy officer; Akshay Sivananda, chief information security officer; Evelyn Acosta Behrendt, senior vice president of human resources; and Nitin Varma, senior vice president and managing director for India and SAARC.

Nitin Varma highlighted the hub's dual focus on global leadership and local empowerment. "India is not just where we build; it's where we lead from," Varma stated. "Our Bengaluru Centre powers global identity innovation, customer delivery, and business operations at scale. As Saviynt's AI Center of Excellence for identity security, it brings world-class products closer to Indian enterprises while exporting innovation worldwide." To cultivate talent, Saviynt is enhancing partnerships with top universities, boosting campus recruitment, and expanding its Saviynt University programme, which provides free identity security courses to aspiring professionals. This initiative supports the IndiaAI Mission launched in 2024, aimed at democratising AI and fostering economic opportunities.

The expansion reinforces Saviynt's strategy to collaborate with government, industry, and academia, positioning Bengaluru as a nexus for cybersecurity advancements. As organisations navigate AI deployment and regulatory demands, Saviynt's investments underscore India's potential as a global leader in secure digital transformation.
