Rasha & Ibrahim Stun in JJ Valaya's Finale

East collection dazzles at India Couture Week 2025.

Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 wrapped up with a breathtaking finale by JJ Valaya, celebrating his 33rd year in fashion. The designer's "East" collection, a 60-piece tribute to Eastern India's cultural richness, captivated audiences with its fusion of historic romance and modern craftsmanship. Featuring luxurious silks, velvets, organza, and brocade, the collection evoked the West's fascination with the mystique of the Far East, Balkans, and India.

The show opened with a traditional flourish as monks graced the ramp, followed by a star-studded cast of models, including cricketer Abhishek Sharma and actors Rahul Dev and Mugdha Godse. A mesmerizing mid-show Kathak performance added elegance, while grand terracotta elephants enhanced the opulent set. Rajiv Makhni's lively monologue introduced Valaya’s vision with flair.

Stealing the spotlight, Rasha Thadani and Ibrahim Ali Khan closed the show in coordinated black and gold ensembles. Rasha dazzled in a black lehenga choli with intricate embroidery, a bold border design, and a striped dupatta, accessorized with a diamond bracelet and rings. Ibrahim looked regal in a high-collared black sherwani paired with a patiala-style salwar and black shoes.
