Radisson Hotel Group has launched the 96-key St Mark’s Hotel Bengaluru, its second Radisson Individuals property in the city, bringing its Bengaluru portfolio to seven operational hotels. Strategically located in the city’s bustling center, the hotel targets Bengaluru’s robust mix of corporate, leisure, and international travelers.
“Bengaluru is a critical market with a thriving travel demand,” said Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO of Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia. “St Mark’s Hotel, with its central location and established legacy, is well-positioned to serve this diverse base.” The group, with over 200 hotels in operation and development across India, continues to strengthen its presence in key metros.
Competitive Edge and Future Outlook
Radisson competes with global chains like IHCL, Marriott, and Accor in India’s $20 billion hospitality market, projected to grow at a 10% CAGR through 2030. Its ability to blend international standards with local appeal—evident in St Mark’s Hotel’s nod to Bengaluru’s heritage—gives it an edge. The group’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities, wellness offerings, and loyalty programs like Radisson Rewards further drive its appeal.

Looking ahead, Radisson aims to add 50 more hotels in India by 2030, targeting spiritual, leisure, and business hubs. In India, upcoming openings in Goa, Amritsar, and Varanasi will bolster its portfolio, positioning Radisson to capture a larger share of the country’s 30 million annual tourist arrivals.
