PhonePe Snags Meta’s Top Exec for Game-Changing Policy Role!
Fintech giant PhonePe appoints Meta’s Shivnath Thukral as VP of Public Policy to supercharge its regulatory strategy.
PhonePe, a leading fintech platform, has named Shivnath Thukral, a former Meta executive, as its new Vice President for Public Policy and Government Affairs, effective immediately. Thukral, known for his expertise in regulatory strategy and advocacy in technology and financial inclusion, will spearhead PhonePe’s policy initiatives.
Reporting to cofounders Sameer Nigam and Rahul Chari, he joins the leadership team to drive strategic growth. “Shivnath’s deep knowledge of public policy and regulatory frameworks is a major win for us,” said Nigam. Thukral, an active member of industry bodies like BIF, USISPF, and PAFI, is poised to strengthen PhonePe’s influence in the fintech space.
