MOIL Achieves Record 5 Lakh Tonnes Manganese Ore Output in Q1 2025
MOIL reported 7% year-on-year increase in production of Manganese Ore
State-owned MOIL, India’s largest manganese ore producer, reported a 7% year-on-year increase in production, reaching a record 5.02 lakh tonnes in the April-June 2025 quarter, according to an official statement released Thursday.
The Nagpur-based company, operating under the Ministry of Steel, also achieved its highest-ever monthly output in June, producing 1.68 lakh tonnes, a 2% rise compared to the same period last year, the ministry noted.
“MOIL scales new heights in April-June 2025, registering record quarterly production since inception,” the statement said. CMD Ajit Kumar Saxena highlighted that the company’s stellar performance reflects its robust fundamentals and promising growth trajectory.

MOIL operates 10 underground and opencast mines across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, solidifying its position as a key player in India’s mining sector.
