LUXURY TO THE GANGES!! Oberoi Group Plans Two Luxurious Resorts in Rishikesh

The Oberoi Group, a titan in the luxury hospitality sector, has announced an exciting expansion with the launch of two new resorts in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, in collaboration with the Ladhani Group. The announcement, made on Monday by EIH Ltd—the flagship company of the Oberoi Group—underscores its commitment to bringing world-class hospitality to culturally rich and naturally stunning destinations.

The first property, an 80-key Oberoi Resort, will carry the prestigious 'Vilas' branding, synonymous with opulence and exclusivity. The second, a 120-key five-star hotel, will operate under the Trident brand, known for its blend of modern comfort and sophisticated design. Both resorts will be managed by EIH Ltd and are slated to redefine luxury in Rishikesh, a city revered for its spiritual heritage and scenic beauty along the Ganges River.

Construction of these ambitious projects is set to commence in early 2026, with planning already in motion. The design has been entrusted to globally acclaimed architect Bill Bensley, who is expected to weave the spiritual and natural allure of Rishikesh into the fabric of these properties, creating a harmonious blend of luxury and locale.

This development adds to Oberoi’s robust pipeline of 19 previously announced projects, including 16 hotels, two luxury boats, and a Nile cruiser, all targeted for completion by 2029. The Rishikesh resorts mark a strategic push into leisure destinations, complementing the group’s stronghold in urban markets.
