It comes a year after Sunjay Kapur’s death in England, which reportedly occurred after a sudden medical emergency while he was playing polo. Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur were married on September 29, 2003, in a Sikh ceremony, and were once among the most high-profile couples in India. However, the relationship later deteriorated, and the couple filed for divorce by mutual consent in 2014. The divorce was finalised in 2016 after prolonged legal proceedings.
