Jeffrey Epstein Pushed 'Tall Swedish Blonde' on Anil Ambani in Revealed US Documents
Epstein-Anil Ambani chats reveal personal favors and elite ties.
Jeffrey Epstein’s extensive network of contacts reached India as well, with newly released US Justice Department documents revealing years of communication between the disgraced financier and Indian businessman Anil Ambani. The messages, dating from early 2017 to 2019, show Epstein cultivating a relationship with Ambani just months before he was charged by federal prosecutors with sex trafficking of minors.
According to the documents, Epstein and Ambani exchanged messages discussing global affairs, business matters, and personal topics and made plans to meet in person. In a March 2017 exchange, Epstein suggested arranging the company of “a tall Swedish blonde woman” during a visit, to which Ambani replied affirmatively. The messages also show the two men discussing travel plans to Paris and conversations around the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2018.
In May 2019, when Ambani indicated he would be in New York, Epstein invited him to visit and offered to facilitate discreet meetings with others. Assistants later confirmed that the two met at Epstein’s Upper East Side residence in Manhattan. A representative for Anil Ambani declined to comment on the revelations.

The latest cache of documents adds to the picture of Epstein’s wide-ranging social and business ties, which persisted years after he pleaded guilty in Florida in 2008 to procuring minors for prostitution. Despite that conviction, Epstein continued to interact with wealthy and influential figures globally until his arrest in 2019. He later died by apparent suicide while in federal custody.
The documents also reference Epstein’s interest in the Ambani family, including his purchase of digital books detailing the family’s business history. Anil Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group, and his brother Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, divided their late father Dhirubhai Ambani’s business empire in 2002. Mukesh Ambani is currently Asia’s richest man, while Anil Ambani’s fortunes have declined sharply over the past decade.
Anil Ambani continues to face scrutiny in India. Recently, the Supreme Court of India asked federal investigating agencies to expedite probes into alleged bank-loan fraud involving Ambani and his companies. The released messages further highlight how Epstein leveraged personal connections across business, politics, and culture, extending well beyond the United States.
