India’s Largest Fire & Safety Exhibition Ends With Over 22,000 Attendees

The 19th edition of Fire India 2025 concluded at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai, reaffirming its status as South Asia's premier fire and safety exhibition and conference. Organised by Services International and the Institution of Fire Engineers (India), the three-day event drew over 22,000 visitors and featured more than 500 leading brands from India and abroad.

It served as a vital platform for showcasing innovations in firefighting, fire protection, disaster management, industrial safety, and emergency response amid growing demands for advanced safety solutions in urbanising regions like India, where fire incidents have risen by 15% annually, according to National Crime Records Bureau data.

The exhibition was inaugurated by a senior government official, who emphasised the critical need for evolving fire and safety technologies in a rapidly changing global landscape. Attendees included fire chiefs, director generals from emergency services, safety officers, engineers, policymakers, and business leaders, fostering extensive networking and collaboration.

Exhibitors presented cutting-edge products, including AI-powered detection systems, fire robotics, drone-assisted firefighting tools, high-performance suppression systems, and enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE). These displays not only highlighted technological advancements but also addressed real-world challenges, such as integrating smart sensors for early hazard detection in high-risk industries like manufacturing and petrochemicals.

Specialised zones elevated the event's interactive appeal. The Startup Zone spotlighted emerging companies with disruptive technologies, attracting investors and buyers eager for scalable innovations. Complementing this, the Demo Ex area hosted live demonstrations of firefighting and rescue equipment, allowing professionals to witness practical applications in simulated scenarios.

The Innovation Zone further showcased forward-thinking solutions, from advanced rescue devices to intelligent monitoring systems, underscoring the industry's shift toward proactive, data-driven safety measures. These features bridged the gap between theoretical advancements and on-ground implementation, generating leads and partnerships that could influence future standards.

Parallel to the exhibition, the International Fire India Conference, hosted by the Institution of Fire Engineers (India), convened experts for discussions on policy, case studies, and strategic planning.
