Hero MotoCorp Leads November 2025 Motorcycle Sales; Honda, TVS Also Grow

Hero MotoCorp leads November 2025 motorcycle sales with strong YoY growth as rivals show mixed performance.

Hero MotoCorp solidified its position as India's leading motorcycle manufacturer in November 2025, registering domestic sales of 512,645 units—a robust 25.3% year-on-year increase from 409,292 units in November 2024, according to SIAM data released on December 13, 2025. The performance widened Hero's lead in the mass-market commuter and entry-level premium segments, capitalising on sustained festive-season demand and strong rural recovery.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India maintained second place with 245,333 units sold, reflecting a 23.7% growth over the previous year's 198,265 units. The company's volume was bolstered by the consistent popularity of its 125cc and mid-capacity models, which remain key contributors in urban and semi-urban markets.

Bajaj Auto was the only major player among the top five to report a decline, with domestic sales dropping 7.6% to 164,138 units from 177,701 units a year earlier. The dip indicates softer demand in certain core segments amid competitive pressures and inventory adjustments.

TVS Motor Company posted an 18.9% rise, selling 118,326 motorcycles compared to 99,523 units in November 2024, driven by steady commuter sales and growing acceptance of newer offerings.

Royal Enfield matched Hero's growth rate at 25.2%, dispatching 90,405 units against 72,236 the prior year, fuelled by enduring demand for its 350cc and 650cc classics in the lifestyle segment.

The month's results highlight a polarised market recovery, with volume-driven brands like Hero, Honda, TVS, and Royal Enfield gaining traction while others faced headwinds. Overall industry trends suggest improving sentiment post-festive period, setting a positive tone for the ongoing fiscal year.
