Google has announced exciting paid internship and apprenticeship opportunities starting in 2026, targeting students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in technical and research disciplines. These programs offer hands-on experience, professional development, and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects at one of the world’s leading tech companies.
The selected interns and researchers will be based at Google’s offices in Bengaluru (Karnataka), Pune (Maharashtra), and Hyderabad (Telangana). • Silicon Engineering Intern (PhD, Summer 2026): Open to PhD students in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Interns will work alongside hardware and software architects to design and evaluate next-generation Cloud Silicon technologies.
• Software Engineering PhD Intern (Summer 2026): Aimed at PhD candidates in software development or allied technical domains. The 12–14 week program features real project work, executive speaker sessions, team-building activities, and the development of software for distributed multi-system environments.
• Student Researcher 2026: Available to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or Natural Sciences. Participants join research, engineering, or science teams to tackle complex, large-scale challenges.
