GO EC’s Bengaluru Launch Supercharges India’s EV Charging Expansion

GO EC launches its Bengaluru HQ with plans for 1,000 EV charging stations across South India by 2026.

GO EC Autotech Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated its new headquarters in Bengaluru, a pivotal step toward bolstering India’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The ceremony, graced by Sri. M. Satish Reddy, Hon. MLA of Bommanahalli Constituency, alongside key executives like P G Ramnath (CEO), P A Jaffar (CMD), Suneer P (Director of Business Development), Anish Pattaly (Director of Investment), and Prasad Gowda (KPCC Spokesperson), underscored GO EC’s commitment to driving sustainable mobility. The new headquarters positions Bengaluru as the epicenter of the company’s ambitious expansion plans to enhance EV adoption nationwide.

GO EC announced a robust roadmap to install 350 charging stations across Karnataka and scale up to 1,000 across South India within the next year. This expansion builds on the company’s existing network, particularly in Kerala, where it has already established a strong presence. By focusing on community engagement, especially in Kerala, GO EC aims to raise awareness and foster EV adoption through education and accessible infrastructure. The company’s strategy aligns with India’s push for clean energy, aiming to make EV charging seamless for individuals, businesses, and communities.

P G Ramnath, CEO of GO EC, highlighted the significance of the milestone: “The inauguration of our headquarters in Bengaluru marks a turning point for GO EC as we position ourselves as a leading force in the EV charging domain. With our upcoming network of stations, we aim to support communities across Karnataka, South India, and Kerala, ensuring EV adoption becomes seamless and accessible for all.” This vision is supported by strategic partnerships and innovative charging solutions tailored to diverse user needs.

Sri. M. Satish Reddy, Hon. MLA, emphasized the broader impact: “The future of mobility lies in sustainable solutions, and Karnataka remains committed to building a strong EV ecosystem. I am pleased to inaugurate GO EC’s headquarters and welcome their initiative to set up 350 charging stations in the state.” GO EC’s plans include deploying fast-charging stations along highways, in urban centers, and at key commercial locations like malls and restaurants, ensuring convenience and reducing range anxiety for EV users. The company also intends to leverage advanced technologies, such as smart grid integration, to enhance charger efficiency and reliability.

GO EC’s rapid growth, from a Kerala-based startup to a key player in India’s EV sector, reflects its dedication to sustainability. With the Bengaluru headquarters as its nerve center, the company is poised to lead the charge in building a reliable and accessible EV charging network, supporting India’s transition to a greener future.
