German Firms Eye Tamil Nadu After CM Stalin’s Europe Visit
German investors impressed by Tamil Nadu’s infrastructure and workforce.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin announced on Saturday that German investors are highly impressed with the state’s advanced infrastructure, skilled workforce, and progressive initiatives, particularly the employment opportunities provided to women. Speaking in a video message about his recent European tour, Stalin shared insights from his interactions with investors in Germany, where he showcased Tamil Nadu’s potential as a prime investment destination.
During a high-profile investors’ summit in Germany, Stalin highlighted the state’s cutting-edge infrastructure and comprehensive education and skill training programs for its youth. “German investors were amazed to learn about the training provided to the youth of Tamil Nadu,” he said, emphasizing the state’s commitment to fostering a capable workforce. He also underscored the government’s efforts to empower women through job creation, which resonated strongly with the investors.
“They are eager to invest in various sectors in Tamil Nadu,” Stalin noted, expressing his determination to elevate these opportunities through visionary development plans. The warm reception he received underscored the high regard German investors hold for Tamil Nadu’s economic prospects.

Adding a cultural highlight to his trip, Stalin unveiled a portrait of rationalist leader Periyar E V Ramasamy at Oxford University, symbolizing Tamil Nadu’s rich ideological heritage. As the state positions itself as a global investment hub, Stalin’s outreach signals a promising era of economic growth and international collaboration.
