Estate Battle Continues: Mandhira Kapur Challenges Priya Sachdev’s Role in Kapur Legacy

Mandhira Kapur criticises Priya Sachdev amid the Sunjay Kapur estate feud, accusing her of sidelining his children.

Mandhira Kapur, sister of the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur, has intensified the ongoing family estate feud by publicly accusing his widow, Priya Sachdev Kapur, of attempting to usurp the Kapur legacy and asserting that Priya is "not the face" of the family or its businesses. In a recent appearance on the InControversial podcast, Mandhira challenged Priya to publicly claim that Sunjay had no regard for his children from his previous marriage to actor Karisma Kapoor.

Mandhira expressed deep resentment over Priya's role in the dispute, likening the situation to their family legacy being "kidnapped." She emphasized the personal connection the Kapur siblings had with their father's innovations and the automotive accessories company Sona Comstar, stating that Priya "shouldn't even be around" in representing the family's heritage.

The conflict centers on Sunjay Kapur's multibillion-dollar estate following his unexpected death earlier in 2025 at age 53. Mandhira accused Priya of using family funds to finance legal battles against Sunjay's children from his first marriage—Samaira and Kiaan Kapur—and suggested an intent to exclude them in favor of Priya's own children with Sunjay.

Mandhira further escalated her claims by questioning the circumstances of her brother's death, stating she does not believe it was due to natural causes despite his reportedly healthy condition, and vowed to "get to the bottom of everything." She rejected any notion that Sunjay would have prioritized his third wife over his elder children.
