Eligible For Refunds Up To Rs 10,000: IndiGo Offers 20,000 Free Tickets

IndiGo has announced a special promotional campaign to mark its 20th anniversary, offering passengers a chance to receive refunds of up to Rs 10,000 on eligible domestic flight bookings. Under the limited-period “Happy IndiGo Day Offer”, the airline is giving customers an opportunity to win refunds that could effectively make their tickets free, subject to the terms and conditions of the campaign.
The offer is valid from August 4 to August 6, 2026, and includes 20,000 tickets as part of the anniversary celebration. Passengers booking eligible domestic flights during the promotional period through IndiGo’s official website, mobile application or 6Eskai platform can participate in the contest-based offer.
According to the airline, selected Passenger Name Records (PNRs) will be contacted through WhatsApp and email after booking. Customers whose bookings are chosen will need to answer a question related to the contest, with up to three attempts provided to submit the correct response.

Passengers who answer correctly will be eligible for a refund of up to Rs 10,000 on their booking amount. The refund benefit will depend on the applicable conditions of the offer, and the airline has clarified that only eligible bookings made through specified channels will qualify for participation.
The promotional campaign is part of IndiGo’s celebrations marking two decades of operations. Instead of offering a regular fare discount, the airline has introduced a reward-based programme where selected customers can receive ticket refunds after completing the contest process.
The anniversary offer comes as IndiGo continues to expand its operations and strengthen its position in India’s aviation sector. Passengers interested in participating are advised to check the airline’s official terms and conditions before making bookings during the promotional period.
