BMW Group India Confirms Up To 2% Price Hike From July 2026
BMW India raises prices citing costs and rupee depreciation.
BMW Group India has announced a price increase of up to 2% across its entire vehicle portfolio, effective 1 July 2026. The revised pricing will apply to both BMW and MINI models sold in the Indian market. This marks another round of price revision after the company had already implemented a hike in April 2026, reflecting continued adjustments in its pricing strategy for the region.
According to BMW Group India President and CEO Hardeep Singh Brar, the decision has been taken to address ongoing macroeconomic pressures. He stated that factors such as rupee depreciation against major global currencies and rising logistics and operational costs have significantly impacted the company’s cost structure. The price revision, he added, is intended to safeguard premium standards while ensuring uninterrupted delivery of engineering quality and customer service expectations.
The price increase will affect a wide range of locally manufactured BMW models in India. These include popular vehicles such as the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, 7 Series, X1, X3, X5, X7, M340i, and the iX1 Long Wheelbase. These models form a significant portion of BMW’s India portfolio and cater to both entry-level luxury buyers and higher-end premium segments.

In addition to locally produced cars, BMW’s imported completely built-up (CBU) models will also see revised pricing. This lineup includes high-performance and luxury offerings such as the BMW i5 M60, i7, i7 M70, iX, M440i Convertible, M2 Coupe, M4 Competition, M5, and XM. These models represent the brand’s performance and electric vehicle strategy in the Indian luxury automobile market.
Separately, BMW has also been running its Summer Service Campaign 2026 across its authorised service network in India. The initiative focuses on preventive maintenance measures such as air-conditioning system checks, air and cabin filter inspections, tyre condition assessments, and battery health checks for non-electric models. The campaign aims to improve vehicle reliability during extreme summer conditions in India.
The service initiative also includes promotional benefits, such as discounts of up to 10% on AC fumigation services and up to 25% on labour charges for air-conditioning repairs. Additional value-added services are being offered at reduced rates, reflecting the company’s effort to maintain customer satisfaction while encouraging regular vehicle maintenance amid rising ownership costs in the luxury car segment.
