The Home Minister praises PM Modi’s lifelong dedication, leadership, and transformative impact on India.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, portraying him as a "symbol of sacrifice and dedication" who has tirelessly served the nation for over five decades.
In a series of Hindi posts on X using the hashtag #HappyBdayPMModi, Shah described Modi as a living embodiment of the "nation first" ethos, inspiring millions through his unwavering resolve and expansive vision. Shah emphasized Modi's journey from an RSS pracharak to BJP organizational general secretary, Gujarat chief minister, and now India's prime minister for 11 years, noting that in every role, Modi has prioritized the country above self.
Shah lauded Modi's governance for centering the deprived, backward classes, poor, women, and tribals, fostering transformative changes that connect citizens to a developed, self-reliant India. He highlighted Modi's introduction of "purity to the system, firmness to decisions, and clarity to policies," crediting him with advancing infrastructure in remote areas.
Examples include Assam's longest bridge, the world's highest Chenab railway bridge in Kashmir, semiconductor units, and digital public infrastructure, positioning India as a leader across sectors. Shah also noted the widespread adoption of Unified Payments Interface (UPI), even among vegetable vendors, as a testament to Modi's inclusive digital revolution.
Under Modi's leadership, Shah asserted, India has elevated from the world's 11th largest economy in 2014 to the fourth largest by 2025, with nominal GDP more than doubling to $4.27 trillion, according to International Monetary Fund projections. The IMF has termed India a "bright spot" in the global economy, boasting the highest growth rate and lifting 60 crore people out of poverty through parallel welfare and economic reforms. Shah described Modi as a "problem-solving leader" who resolves challenges with foresight and dedication, emerging as a global bridge for dialogue amid wars and tensions.
