Amber Enterprises Enters Manufacturing Partnership With Oppo in India

Amber Enterprises has announced a manufacturing collaboration with Oppo Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant expansion of its presence in the country's electronics manufacturing sector. Under the agreement, Amber will manufacture smartphones for Oppo India's portfolio of brands, including Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, strengthening domestic production capabilities and supporting the growing demand for locally manufactured devices.

The partnership will leverage Amber Enterprises' manufacturing scale, established local supply chain ecosystem and value-addition capabilities to produce smartphones for the three brands. The collaboration is expected to enhance production efficiency while contributing to the development of India's electronics manufacturing ecosystem through greater localisation and improved operational capacity.

The agreement comes at a time when global smartphone companies are increasingly diversifying their manufacturing partnerships in India. The shift aligns with the Indian government's continued emphasis on boosting domestic manufacturing, increasing local value addition and positioning the country as a major global hub for electronics production.
