Amazon Now Brings 10 Minute Delivery To Mumbai Ahead Of Great Indian Festival
Amazon launches 10-minute delivery service Amazon Now in Mumbai.
Amazon has launched its 10-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, in Mumbai, intensifying the quick commerce race in India. This expansion follows remarkable growth in Delhi and Bengaluru, where the service has seen a 25% month-on-month increase in orders. The move aligns with Amazon’s broader strategy to meet the surging demand for ultra-fast delivery of essential goods, as outlined in a recent company statement.
Amazon Now enables Mumbai customers to order a diverse range of products, including groceries, personal care items, and electronic accessories, with delivery in just minutes. The service’s success in Delhi and Bengaluru prompted Amazon to scale up its infrastructure, establishing over 100 micro-fulfillment centers to support growing demand.
“The response has exceeded our most optimistic expectations,” said Samir Kumar, Vice President and Country Manager, Amazon India. “Driven by this success, we’ve expanded to over 100 micro-fulfillment centers and plan to add hundreds more across Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai.”
The Mumbai rollout is strategically timed to coincide with the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival, starting September 23, 2025, promising customers an enhanced shopping experience. As Amazon Now continues to redefine convenience, Mumbai residents can now enjoy lightning-fast deliveries, cementing Amazon’s position in India’s competitive e-commerce landscape.
