Adani’s ‘Airport in a Box’ Promises Future-Ready Terminals

Adani’s new digital tools transform airport experience nationwide.

Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has launched an ambitious suite of digital initiatives designed to redefine the passenger experience across its seven airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Jaipur, and Lucknow. Announced on Wednesday, these innovations come just weeks before the highly anticipated inauguration of the Adani Group-owned Navi Mumbai International Airport, expected to be officiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this month.

At the heart of AAHL’s digital strategy are three cutting-edge platforms: aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport in a Box. These tools aim to streamline operations, enhance passenger convenience, and position India’s airports as global leaders in aviation technology. By integrating green design principles, seamless transport connectivity, and advanced data-sharing systems, AAHL is transforming airports into vibrant lifestyle hubs and economic powerhouses.

The aviio platform is a game-changer for airport operations, connecting airlines, security agencies, ground handlers, and service providers. It breaks down industry silos by democratizing data, making real-time information accessible to all stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and concessionaires. This fosters smoother operations, reduces delays, and empowers passengers with timely updates to plan their journeys confidently, alleviating travel-related stress.

Meanwhile, the Adani OneApp serves as a comprehensive travel companion, consolidating all airport services into a single, user-friendly platform. Passengers can access India’s first airport-specific loyalty program, Adani Rewards, which covers dining, retail, duty-free shopping, parking, and meet-and-greet services. The app allows users to pre-book lounges, check card eligibility, and shop from an extensive catalog with features like delivery to boarding gates, multi-cart orders, and group duty-free purchases. Additional perks include live flight tracking, instant updates, seamless Wi-Fi, and a “park and fly” facility. Since its launch, the app has introduced over 1,200 key performance indicators and 60 new features, ensuring passengers have critical data at their fingertips.

The Airport in a Box platform is a forward-thinking solution that equips airports with scalable infrastructure and advanced technology. Designed to future-proof operations, it supports plug-and-play systems and digital twins, enabling seamless capacity expansions. This ensures that AAHL’s airports are not only equipped for current demands but are also ready to onboard new facilities with ease.

By deploying these platforms across its network, AAHL is setting a new standard for India’s aviation sector. The company’s vision goes beyond operational efficiency, aiming to transform airports into digital-first gateways that reflect India’s growing global influence. With a focus on sustainability, connectivity, and passenger-centric innovation, AAHL is poised to elevate the travel experience while driving regional economic growth.

As the Navi Mumbai International Airport prepares to open its doors, AAHL’s digital initiatives signal a bold step toward making India’s airports world-class destinations, blending technology, convenience, and lifestyle like never before.
