Adani Group Breaks Into India’s Top 10 Most Valuable Brands Ranking

Adani Group reaches top brand rankings with energy leadership.

The Adani Group has entered India’s top 10 most valuable brands for the first time, according to the “Brand Finance India 100 Report 2026”. The conglomerate secured the eighth position, moving up from rank 13 the previous year, and became the fastest company to enter the country’s top 10 brand rankings within three years.

According to the report by Brand Finance, the global independent brand valuation consultancy, the Adani Group’s brand value increased to $8.48 billion, compared with $6.46 billion a year earlier. The valuation excludes around $500 million associated with Adani Wilmar and related consumer-facing brands. The group recorded a 31.3% rise in brand value, the highest growth among India’s top 20 brands.

The report noted that the Adani Group has achieved one of the sharpest three-year rises among India’s top 25 most valuable brands, climbing 15 positions during the period. Over the past year alone, the group added $2.02 billion to its brand valuation, exceeding its entire brand value recorded in 2022.

Adani Power emerged as India’s most valuable energy brand, with its brand value rising 152% to $1.8 billion. Other Adani Group companies, including Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions, were also ranked among the top five energy brands in India, while Adani Total Gas further expanded the group’s presence in the energy sector.

Brand Finance Managing Director for Asia Pacific Alex Haigh said the group’s entry into the top 10 reflected the strength of a business deeply connected with India’s economic growth. He highlighted the company’s expanding presence across infrastructure, logistics and energy sectors as key factors behind its growing brand recognition.

The report also highlighted improvement in the Adani Group’s Brand Strength Index (BSI), with its score rising by 3.6 points to 84. The group moved up eight places to rank 18th in brand strength, recording one of the fastest improvements among India’s top 20 companies. Brand Finance’s rankings are based on consumer perception, brand impact and projected revenues, with India’s top 100 brands collectively valued at a record $252.8 billion in 2026.
