British Beauty Queen Eleisha Skinner Passes Away at 21 in Tragic Crash
Former Miss Faversham 2022 Eleisha Skinner passed away after a car crash in icy conditions.
Eleisha Skinner, the 21-year-old crowned Miss Faversham 2022, has tragically died following a freak car accident caused by treacherous icy weather. The young pageant queen collided with a parked vehicle, sustaining serious injuries that led to her hospitalisation at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Despite fighting bravely for several days, she was pronounced dead on January 8.
The Faversham Carnival Club, which worked closely with Eleisha during her reign, shared their profound grief, describing her as a “fantastic ambassador for Faversham” and a “truly lovely girl.” They fondly recalled the beautiful memories created together and highlighted her warm presence that touched everyone she met.
Known for her generous spirit and deep commitment to helping others, Eleisha was pursuing studies to become a social worker. Her parents, Nigel and Clare, remembered their daughter as a “kind, selfless, passionate young woman” with a “heart of gold” who always prioritised others. They emphasised her radiant smile, genuine personality, and instinctive desire to support those around her.

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched in Eleisha’s memory to raise funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service, which attended to her after the accident. The family has also announced a celebration of her life to be held on Friday, February 6, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary of Charity Church in Faversham, inviting the community to honour her legacy.
Eleisha’s untimely passing has left her hometown and the pageant community in mourning, with tributes pouring in for the bright young woman whose kindness and dedication left a lasting impact.
