RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Declares Ram Temple in Ayodhya Marks End of Centuries of Humiliation
Mohan Bhagwat proclaims Ram Temple victory ends centuries of foreign invasions forever.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat declared on Sunday that the centuries-long era of foreign invasions, temple destruction, and national humiliation has conclusively ended, asserting that India has now “hoisted its flag over the Ram Temple in Ayodhya,” marking the irreversible reclamation of civilisational pride and sovereignty after generations of struggle.
Addressing thousands at the Divya Geeta Prerna Utsav in Lucknow alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Bhagwat positioned the consecration of the Ram Temple not merely as a religious milestone but as a historic turning point, symbolising the nation’s collective resolve to restore its sacred heritage and erase the scars inflicted by repeated foreign conquests that once reduced Bharat to a state of helplessness.
Drawing extensively from the Bhagavad Gita, he urged every Indian to study its original Sanskrit verses rather than rely on translations, insisting that direct engagement with the text unveils ever-deeper solutions to modern crises of identity, morality, and social discord, while lamenting that contemporary society, despite material prosperity, remains engulfed in unrest because it has drifted far from the dharmic principles that once made India the world’s spiritual and moral beacon.

Bhagwat paid solemn homage to countless unsung warriors—from the martyrs of the 1857 uprising to revolutionaries like Chandrashekhar Azad—who sacrificed their lives without witnessing independence or the Ram Temple’s restoration, yet whose blood and determination laid the unbreakable foundation for today’s resurgence, reminding the audience that true victory belongs to those who persist across generations without expectation of immediate reward.
In a broader call to national unity and duty, the RSS Chief framed the present moment as a sacred obligation to protect and advance this hard-won cultural revival, warning that global conflicts driven by greed and aggression continue unabated, and only a society rooted in dharma, selfless service, and unwavering resolve can ensure that India never again bows before external or internal forces seeking to diminish its eternal civilisational identity.
