Trainer Karan Sawhney Reveals Five-Move No-Equipment Circuit That Takes Just 10 Minutes
Celebrity trainer Karan Sawhney shares a five-move no-equipment ten-minute daily fitness circuit.
Celebrity fitness trainer Karan Sawhney, known for training Bollywood actors such as Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon, has shared a simple 10-minute no-equipment workout routine aimed at busy individuals who struggle to find time for exercise. The routine, designed to be done anywhere, has gained attention for its simplicity and accessibility.
In a recent Instagram video, Sawhney addressed what he called the most common excuse for skipping workouts—lack of time. He urged people to check their daily screen time before claiming they are too busy to exercise, emphasising that just 10 minutes of movement can make a meaningful difference when done consistently. His message focused on building sustainable habits rather than relying on long, occasional workout sessions.
The trainer highlighted that the routine requires no gym equipment and consists of five basic exercises performed in a structured circuit. According to him, each movement should be done for 30 seconds followed by a 30-second rest, with the full circuit repeated twice to complete the 10-minute session. The exercises are designed to target strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness in a short span of time.

The workout includes squats for lower body strength, push-ups for upper body conditioning, plank for core stability, bicycle crunches for abdominal engagement, and high knees to elevate heart rate. Sawhney explained that this combination helps activate multiple muscle groups while also improving overall stamina and energy levels.
Beyond fitness benefits, he emphasized the importance of “micro-workouts” in modern sedentary lifestyles. Studies have shown that short bursts of high-intensity activity can improve heart health, support fat loss, and enhance metabolic function. He noted that consistency, even in small doses, can lead to long-term health improvements through what he called the “compounding effect” of daily movement.
Sawhney’s message encourages people to integrate fitness into their routines without needing a gym or extensive time commitment. By reframing exercise as something achievable in just 10 minutes, he aims to make health and fitness more realistic for working professionals, students, and anyone with a busy schedule.
