Sho Takei Calls Rameshwaram Cafe One of India's Top Veg Spots After Mudde Experience

Japanese content creator Sho Takei visits Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe, tries authentic Mudde meal with filter coffee, and hails it as one of India's best vegetarian experiences.

A Japanese content creator’s first experience with a traditional South Indian meal in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media, drawing praise for his candid and respectful approach to Indian cuisine. Sho Takei, a Japan-based influencer, recently visited the popular Rameshwaram Cafe in the city and shared his food journey on Instagram, winning appreciation from Indian users.

In his video, Takei documented trying a traditional Mudde meal, which included plain rice, ragi ball, masala vada, sambar, rasam, kosambari, pickle, curd, and green chilli. He also sampled a cup of South Indian filter coffee. The creator admitted that he had underestimated the meal before tasting it, a remark that resonated strongly with viewers.

After trying the food, Takei praised the flavours and presentation, describing the meal as “surprisingly good”. He highlighted the authenticity of the dishes and the balance of tastes, noting that the food exceeded his expectations both in quality and portion size.
