Orry reveals Rs 76 lakh earnings from single reel; charges Rs 25 lakh for events.
Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has drawn widespread attention after revealing details about his earnings and the business model behind his influencer-driven career. Speaking on the “Learn by KK Create” podcast hosted by Kavya Karnatac, Orry discussed how he monetises his public image through brand collaborations, paid appearances, and social media content, offering a rare glimpse into the economics of digital fame in India.
Orry said that a significant portion of his income comes from high-value brand deals and digital campaigns, including social media reels. He claimed that in one instance, he earned around ₹76 lakh from a single deal involving one reel, a statement that quickly went viral online and sparked debate about influencer earnings and the scale of money flowing into digital advertising.
Beyond online collaborations, Orry explained that his business extends into paid personal appearances at private events. He said he is often invited to attend weddings, parties, dinners, and other gatherings as a guest celebrity experience, with fees reportedly ranging between ₹15 lakh and ₹25 lakh per appearance depending on the nature of the event and engagement required.

Describing his work in a light-hearted tone, Orry said his appearances include interacting with guests, taking photographs, giving informal speeches, and engaging with attendees in a highly personalised manner. He added that his recognisable social media persona and signature pose have become part of the experience clients pay for, turning his presence itself into a marketable product.
The influencer also reflected on how the creator economy has reshaped traditional ideas of work and income generation. He suggested that personal branding and online visibility have become valuable assets, allowing individuals to build entire careers around public attention rather than conventional jobs or fixed professions.
Orry further revealed that despite his earnings and public profile, he does not personally manage his finances. He said his parents handle his money and joked that he does not expect to take over financial management anytime soon. His remarks have triggered broader discussions online about influencer culture, celebrity monetisation, and the growing demand for paid social media personalities in entertainment and events.
