Redmi K100 Pro Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The Redmi K100 Pro has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform ahead of its official launch, revealing several key specifications of the upcoming flagship smartphone. The listing suggests that the device will be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and could offer up to 16GB of RAM. While Xiaomi has already teased the Redmi K100 Pro in China, the company has yet to officially confirm its complete hardware specifications or launch date.

According to the Geekbench database, the handset carries the model number Xiaomi M511CD, which earlier certification listings have linked to the Chinese variant of the Redmi K100 Pro. The benchmark listing identifies the device with Qualcomm's SM8850 processor, believed to be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The octa-core processor is listed with two performance cores clocked at 4.61GHz and six efficiency cores running at 3.63GHz, indicating a significant performance upgrade over its predecessor.

The listing further reveals that the smartphone was tested with approximately 14.73GB of RAM, which is expected to be marketed as 16GB in the retail version. It is also shown running Android 16, with Xiaomi likely to ship the device with its latest HyperOS 3 interface. These details suggest the Redmi K100 Pro will be among the first premium smartphones from the brand to launch with Google's newest Android version out of the box.

In Geekbench 6.7.1 testing, the device recorded impressive benchmark scores of around 3,429 points in the single-core test and 10,671 points in the multi-core test, indicating flagship-level processing performance. Although benchmark scores do not always reflect real-world usage, they provide an early indication that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 could deliver notable gains in CPU performance compared to previous generations.

The Redmi K100 series is expected to comprise three models, with the K100 Pro positioned as one of the premium offerings in the lineup. Reports suggest it will succeed the Redmi K90 Pro Max, although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the complete model range. Additional hardware details, including the display, cameras, battery capacity and charging capabilities, are yet to be announced.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi brand will participate in the ChinaJoy 2026 digital entertainment exhibition, scheduled to be held from July 31 to August 3 in China. During the event, the company is expected to unveil a new product and allow attendees to experience it firsthand. While Xiaomi has not officially stated that the Redmi K100 Pro will debut at the exhibition, the timing of the Geekbench listing has fuelled speculation that the smartphone could be introduced during the event.
