Ustaad Bhagat Singh OTT Release Date Confirmed: Pawan Kalyan's Film Streams on Netflix April 16

Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh begins streaming on Netflix from April 16 in five languages.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, is set for its digital debut after generating significant buzz during its theatrical run earlier this year. The action drama, which hit cinemas on March 19, 2026, will begin streaming on Netflix from April 16, expanding its reach to audiences who prefer watching films at home. The announcement has further heightened interest among fans awaiting the film’s OTT release.

The streaming platform confirmed the release through an official post, highlighting the film’s wide-language availability in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. This multi-language rollout is expected to help the film connect with a broader audience beyond its original market. While Pawan Kalyan’s strong fan base ensured a solid theatrical opening, the OTT release is likely to give the film a second life among viewers who missed it in cinemas.

At the box office, the film opened to an impressive ₹41.01 crore on its first day despite clashing with Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh. However, after the initial surge, collections witnessed a gradual slowdown. According to trade estimates, the film has earned a total gross of ₹96.66 crore, including ₹11.85 crore from overseas markets, with net collections standing at approximately ₹72.24 crore.

Directed by Harish Shankar, the movie marks a reunion of the popular “Gabbar Singh” duo, raising expectations among fans. The story follows a young man inspired by his teacher, who names him after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. As he grows older, he becomes a fearless police officer, taking on political corruption, injustice, and societal wrongdoing while staying rooted in strong moral values.

Alongside Pawan Kalyan, the film features Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna in lead roles, supported by actors like R. Parthiban, K. S. Ravikumar, and Rao Ramesh. With its mix of action, drama, and a socially driven narrative, the film now aims to find renewed momentum and a wider audience through its upcoming OTT release.
