Sreeleela Graduates as Doctor and Reintroduces Herself After MBBS Degree

Actress Sreeleela, who rose to fame with her viral dance number Kissik in Pushpa 2, has officially completed her MBBS degree after six years of rigorous study. Sharing glimpses of her graduation ceremony on social media, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, friends, and colleagues for supporting her through exams and the demanding schedule of a professional acting career.
In a social media post, Sreeleela wrote, “This wasn’t just about a degree. It was about growth, faith, tears, resilience, and becoming… Your girl kept her promise.” She also thanked her fans and well-wishers for their encouragement, saying the journey had been both humbling and empowering. The heartfelt post was accompanied by viral pictures and videos from the convocation ceremony.
Clad in maroon robes, Sreeleela was seen beaming as she accepted her degree on stage, hugging her family immediately after. Videos of the batch of 2020 celebrating their milestone alongside her classmates went viral, highlighting the emotional significance of the moment. Her graduation marks the successful conclusion of her medical education while maintaining a busy film career.

Born in 2001 in Detroit to a Telugu family and raised in Bengaluru, Sreeleela hails from a medical background, with her mother, Swarnalatha, practicing as a gynaecologist. She debuted as an actor in the 2017 Telugu film Chitrangada and played lead roles in Kannada films like Kiss (2019) and Bharaate (2019). Her career continued to rise with major roles in South Indian cinema, blending her professional growth with academic achievement.
Looking ahead, Sreeleela has several high-profile projects, including the Telugu film Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan, a Bollywood debut alongside Kartik Aaryan, and the Tamil release Parashakthi directed by Sudha Kongara, in which she starred with Sivakarthikeyan. The graduation adds a new dimension to her public image, as she proudly embraces the title “Dr Sreeleela.”
