Prithviraj Sukumaran in Rajamouli's Next Film!!

Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is indeed a part of SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film, tentatively titled SSMB29, starring Mahesh Babu, as confirmed by his mother and veteran actress Mallika Sukumaran in a social media comment.

Prithviraj’s Instagram post where he mentioned feeling "nervous" about delivering long monologues in a non-native language left fans speculating whether he was referring to the Telugu director’s film. Others believed he was hinting at his upcoming film with Meghna Gulzar and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

As fans flooded the comments on Prithviraj’s post with theories, one comment in Malayalam dismissed the speculation, calling it "AI-generated and fake." Mallika Sukumaran quickly intervened, replying, "Next is Rajamouli’s film. He is leaving tonight." She also reprimanded the user for not asking her directly instead of spreading rumours.

Her confirmation sent fans into a celebratory frenzy, cementing Prithviraj’s association with the highly anticipated project. The film marks SS Rajamouli’s first collaboration with Mahesh Babu and is expected to be a grand action-adventure. While Rajamouli has kept details under wraps, rumours suggest that Prithviraj and John Abraham are part of the cast.

The first schedule has already been completed, and the second is reportedly set to take place in Odisha. Meanwhile, Prithviraj is also preparing for the release of L2: Empuraan, his directorial starring Mohanlal. The much-awaited sequel to Lucifer set to hit screens on March 27, 2025.

In a recent social media post, Prithviraj, who finally removed his beard, shared a photo with him sporting a simple thick moustache, and wrote, “Finish and hand over film and all marketing assets on your directorial (Check). Get into appearance for your next as an actor (Check). Realise you have long monologues in a language that’s not native to you and start becoming nervous (Check).”
