Prabhas Carries No Weight of Stardom, Says 'Fauzi' Co-Star Jitin Gulati

Actor Jitin Gulati has recalled his first meeting with Prabhas on the sets of the upcoming period action drama Fauzi, saying the actor’s presence immediately reminded him of Amarendra Baahubali, the character Prabhas played in the Baahubali films. Gulati is set to share screen space with Prabhas in the film, which also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada.

Speaking about the first time he saw Prabhas on set, Gulati said the actor arrived from his vanity van while the team was shooting in Hyderabad. Gulati recalled that before he had even spoken to Prabhas, he noticed the atmosphere around him and felt that a distinctive presence had entered the set.

Gulati said the experience reminded him of Amarendra Baahubali because of the aura surrounding Prabhas. He explained that the impression was particularly strong because he had never met the actor before and was seeing him in person for the first time.

At the same time, Gulati said Prabhas himself does not behave as though he carries the weight of his stardom. According to the actor, the people around Prabhas naturally look up to him because of his stature, but Prabhas remains easygoing in his interactions and does not project the burden of his celebrity status.

Gulati also described Prabhas as one of the most endearing actors he has worked with. His comments offer a glimpse into the working environment on Fauzi, particularly his experience of meeting the film’s leading actor after joining the project.

Fauzi is being made as a period action drama and features Prabhas alongside an ensemble cast that includes Gulati, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada. Gulati’s recollection of his first day on the set adds to the anticipation surrounding his collaboration with Prabhas in the upcoming film.
