Peddi Box Office: Ram Charan Film Crosses Rs 233 Crore Worldwide in Four Days

The box office run of the Telugu action drama Peddi continues to gather momentum, with the film racing toward the ₹250-crore mark worldwide. Headlined by Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film crossed the ₹200-crore milestone within its opening weekend and recorded a notable jump in collections on its first Sunday.
According to trade estimates, Peddi earned ₹31.9 crore in the domestic market on Day 4 through more than 9,000 shows. Telugu-language screenings remained the primary contributor with ₹27.5 crore, while the Hindi version added ₹3.85 crore. Tamil and Kannada versions also contributed to the overall tally. The film's total India net collection has now reached approximately ₹157.15 crore, while its gross domestic earnings stand at ₹187.02 crore.
The film also maintained strong audience occupancy across Telugu-speaking regions. Overall Telugu occupancy was reported at 61 percent on Sunday, with afternoon and evening shows witnessing the highest turnout. The encouraging weekend response has strengthened the film's position at the box office and boosted expectations for a strong first-week finish.

Internationally, Peddi added another ₹4 crore on its fourth day, taking its overseas gross collection to ₹46 crore. With domestic and overseas earnings combined, the film's worldwide gross collection has climbed to ₹233.02 crore. If the current momentum continues through the weekdays, the movie is expected to cross the ₹250-crore worldwide mark shortly.
Beyond its commercial success, the film has also attracted controversy over the portrayal of Janhvi Kapoor's character. Following criticism from sections of viewers, director Buchi Babu Sana issued a public statement expressing regret over concerns raised by audiences. He stated that there was no intention to disrespect women and confirmed that certain portions of the film would be modified after reviewing audience feedback.
Produced under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi also features Vijay Sethupathi, Boman Irani, Divyenndu and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The combination of strong box office numbers and ongoing public discussion has kept the film firmly in the spotlight during its opening week.
