Keerthy Suresh Responds To Claims About Her Role In 'The Paradise' Dance Number
Keerthy addresses claims surrounding her dance appearance in The Paradise.
Actor Keerthy Suresh has responded humorously to a social media user's claim that she agreed to perform a dance number in Nani's upcoming Telugu film The Paradise because she was not getting substantial acting roles. Reports about Keerthy's involvement in the film have circulated online, but neither the actor nor the filmmakers have officially confirmed that she will appear in the movie. The actress chose to address the social media post with a light-hearted correction rather than offer a detailed response to the claim about her career.
The controversy began after a video posted by Frontwoods TV featured a woman commenting on Keerthy's reported involvement in The Paradise. She claimed the actor was taking up a dance performance because of a lack of substantial roles and also referred to the Nani-starrer as a Kannada film. Keerthy responded in Tamil, pointing out the factual error about the film's language. Her comment, which carried a sarcastic and playful tone, was praised by fans, with several users responding with laughter and fire emojis.
Keerthy and Nani share a longstanding professional association and have previously worked together in the 2017 film Nenu Local and the 2023 action drama Dasara. Both films performed well commercially, further contributing to their popular on-screen association. Despite reports linking Keerthy to The Paradise, there has been no official confirmation of her casting so far. The film's teaser, released on Thursday, also did not provide any indication of her involvement.

The Paradise is led by Nani and features Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and Eeshwari Rao among others. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 24. The reported appearance of Keerthy in a dance sequence has therefore remained a subject of online discussion, while the makers have yet to publicly confirm whether she has a role or special appearance in the film.
Meanwhile, Keerthy has several projects lined up across the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She is set to appear in Karthik Subbaraj's Dorothy alongside Rishikanth and Sanath, with the film scheduled for a September 25 theatrical release. In Telugu cinema, she will star in Rowdy Janardhana, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, which is slated for release in December 2026. She is also part of Anil Ravipudi's yet-to-be-titled project alongside Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram and Krithi Shetty.
