Divya Khossla Joins Star-Studded ‘Jatadhara’ in Thrilling Telugu Debut

Bollywood actor Divya Khossla has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Pan-India supernatural thriller fantasy Jatadhara, headlined by Telugu star Sudheer Babu and featuring Sonakshi Sinha in her Telugu cinema debut.

Announced on August 23, 2025, via an X post by the film’s makers, Khossla will portray the character Sitara, with the first-look poster captioned, “Every darkness needs its star. Introducing Divya Khossla as Sitara.” The film, presented by Zee Studios, is written and directed by Venkat Kalyan, known for works like Raakshasa Kaavyam and Tasmac.

Jatadhara promises to redefine the genre with groundbreaking visual effects and a larger-than-life narrative, blending supernatural and fantastical elements. The film is slated for release later in 2025, generating significant buzz for its ambitious scope and stellar ensemble.

Khossla’s addition to the cast follows her recent role in the May 2024 thriller Savi, a remake of the 2008 French film Pour Elle. Directed by Abhinay Deo, Savi featured Khossla alongside Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, depicting a housewife’s daring prison break to free her wrongfully accused husband.

Khossla’s venture into Telugu cinema with Jatadhara marks a significant milestone in her career, aligning her with a dynamic cast and a visionary director. As anticipation builds, the film is poised to captivate audiences across India with its innovative storytelling and visual spectacle.
