Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara Reunite for #Mega157! Sankranthi 2026 Blockbuster Targeted

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next big venture, #Mega157, directed by hitmaker Anil Ravipudi, is gearing up to deliver a laugh-out-loud entertainer, with filming set to begin soon.

The film, produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens in collaboration with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments and presented by Smt. Archana, promises to bring Chiranjeevi back to a full-fledged comedic role after a long hiatus.

Adding to the excitement, Nayanthara has been officially announced as the leading lady, marking her third collaboration with Chiranjeevi after Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.

Anil Ravipudi, riding high on the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, unveiled Nayanthara’s casting with a vibrant promotional video that’s already generating buzz.

The clip features Nayanthara speaking Telugu, grooving to Chiranjeevi’s iconic songs, reading the script, and delivering one of his classic dialogues with infectious enthusiasm. Ravipudi himself appears at the end to confirm the news, showcasing his signature flair for innovative promotions.

The video not only highlights Nayanthara’s playful side but also teases a lively, refreshing role crafted for her by the director.

#Mega157’s promotional campaign has been a masterclass in building anticipation, from the project’s announcement to introducing the technical crew and now revealing Nayanthara as the female lead—all before shooting begins.

Ravipudi’s script, co-written with S Krishna and G Adi Narayana, promises a commercial extravaganza, with Nayanthara’s character designed to leave a lasting impact alongside Chiranjeevi’s larger-than-life presence.

The film boasts a stellar crew, with Sameer Reddy on cinematography, Bheems Ceciroleo composing the music, and Tammiraju handling editing.

S Krishna also serves as executive producer, while AS Prakash takes charge of production design. Ravipudi reiterated the film’s target release for Sankranthi 2026 in the promo, cheekily adding, “Sankranthiki Raffadincheddham” (Let’s rock Sankranthi).
